Just filled out my background check form to make sure I am not a child predator and an application to volunteer at The Haven of Grace in St. Louis. Missouri! Yeah! I will still be able to hold some babies and get my baby fix while I am away from the NICU. Woo hoo! Then going to have lunch with an old high school friend that same day. That is one of the joys of this trip too - getting to reconnect with old friends I haven't seen in ages.
Also want to give props to my son, Jeff, who somehow managed to put an mp3 player on here for me when I couldn't figure out how to do it. Music is sort of a thread that runs through every day of my life and I thought it would be fun to pick a song of the day that you can click on and listen if you want to. Whether it's a song that explains my thoughts that day or struck a chord in me for whatever reason - or maybe just something that made me smile when I heard it. I'll try to explain what I pick when I pick it! The song that is up there now (just above this post) is one of my favorite songs and is truly what I want in life!
Now off to pack for one more flight to a game in Indianapolis this weekend before the road trip begins! Go Bulldogs!
